Students enrolled in this certificate will have acquired skills in editing and design; acquired broad-based digital skills; and gained practical experience in journalism through class projects, practicums, and internships. Admission to this program is limited to journalists (regardless of employment status) who hold an associate’s degree or higher. The program is not open to students who are already enrolled in SUNY Plattsburgh’s bachelor’s degree programs.

Note:

This program is not directly eligible for federal or state financial aid. However, coursework within the program may qualify for aid if it counts as electives toward another aid-eligible degree program or is taken in addition to a full-time course load of 12 aid-eligible credits.
