The major purpose of the graduate program in Special Education is to prepare master teachers capable of meeting the educational needs of students with mild and moderate disabilities. Admission to this program is offered to students who hold a B.A. or B.S. in elementary/childhood, or special education, with initial certification in elementary/childhood education, special education/students with disabilities, or speech and language disabilities For more information contact Special Education Programs.
